Forging Items In The Game Client

All the item functionality of the game can be accessed via the "Inventory" tab of the Biosynth Settings. Access the Inventory by clicking on an item in your "Current Configuration" within the Bioprinter.

All the item functionality on the DAPP is accessible via the "Dataforge" Tab (be sure to confirm your connected wallet by clicking on “Connect Wallet”).

Evolving Your Items

Evolving Your Weapons

When you have reached the required Biosynth and Training Proficiency Levels for each Weapon Power Level, you can use your Offensive and Neutral Augmentations to level up your basic weapons (Biosynth and Proficiency Level 5 for PWR2, Avatar and Proficiency Level 10 for PWR3). To Evolve a Basic Weapon:

  1. Click on the Basic Weapon you wish to evolve and ensure that you meet the "Requirements To Evolve."

  2. Click on the Evolve button.

  3. Choose an Augmentation you've received during your runs through the Outskirts (these start to drop after Sector 3).

  4. Hold/Click the Evolve button to evolve. Your Augmentation will be used up at this point. (Please note: If you are using an NFT resource, this process requires a wallet transaction to be confirmed since you're sending your Resource NFT out of your wallet. Please be patient and allow the blockchain time to forge your new weapon.)

Evolving Your System Components

On the DAPP on the Dataforge page, next to the Weapons Tab, you'll find a tab labeled "Systems". This part of the forge works similarly to the Weapons page (as documented earlier). Evolving your System Components requires Augmentation NFTs to create Evolved versions of your 5 basic system components. These are created as NFTs on the Goerli Test Network.

To evolve a Basic System Component:

  1. Click on the Basic System Component you wish to evolve and ensure that you meet the "Requirements To Evolve."

  2. Click on the Evolve button.

  3. Choose an Augmentation.

  4. Hold the Evolve button to evolve. Your Augmentation will be used up at this point. This process requires a wallet transaction to be confirmed since you're sending your Augmentation NFT out of your wallet. Please be patient and allow the blockchain time to forge your new system component.

Upgrading Your Items

Once you reach the required Biosynth and Training Proficiency Levels, you can also choose to upgrade your already evolved weapons and System Components. This process will further evolve your weapon or system component and require additional Augments of the type originally used to evolve the basic weapon or system component. The process is similar to "Evolving" above, except now the "Evolve" button will change to "Upgrade" in the DAPP or be visible as its own button in the game client.

Forging Legendary Weapons

There are two resources available during each run through the Outskirts, Blueprints and Satoshi's Crystals, that are used to forge Legendary Weapons. Forge a Legendary Weapon by selecting the Forge Legendary button on the menu pictured below.

Supercharging Components

There is a resource obtained during your runs in the Outskirts called Satoshi’s Charges. These can be used to further Evolve your System Components into Supercharged Components which, when all 5 are collected, allow your Biosynth to enter the Supercharged state bestowing it with powerful stat boosts.

Rerolling Items

Using the Dataforge and Satoshi's Crystals, you can reroll and upgrade various aspects of your items. This will allow you, with time, to achieve the perfect version of the item you wish to play with.

REMODEL

Effect: A new evolved or Legendary item of the same power level is forged with a new augmentation but the same random traits.

  • Requirements

    • Crystals required: 1

    • Augments Required: 50% of the Augments (for the new desired Augments) required to evolve an item of that power level.

REFORGE

Effect: A new evolved or Legendary item of the same power level is forged with new random traits and random trait percentages. The new item has the same augmentation and percentage as the previous.

  • Requirements

    • Crystals required: 1

    • Augments required: 50% of the Augments (the one that it currently has on it) used to create an item of the same power level.

OPTIMIZE

Effect: Gives you a chance of making the random portion of a random trait more powerful. You can optimize a particular trait and there is a chance depending on how optimized a trait already is to optimize the trait further. For example, if the range is from 1-10% and the current value is 3% there is a 70% chance that the trait will become 4%.

  • Requirements

    • Crystals Required: 1

RECONFIGURE

Effect: Allows you to choose a random trait and randomly swap it for another. The new random trait will have a new percentage as well.

  • Random trait must be:

    • Different from the other random traits on the item

    • Different from the random trait that you are swapping away from

    • Must be a trait that can occur on that type of item (for example weapons can only have offensive and neutral traits).
